At CAT we thrive on serving our customers, that's why your customer service skills are important. Each year we meet and greet thousands of tourists and provide them with transportation to the Wiliam Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library, offer them a ride through the River Market on the River Rail Streetcar, or connect them with museums and historic sites in both Little Rock and North Little Rock. We provide necessary transportation to our regular customers who depend on us to get them to work, to shopping, or to medical and other important appointments. Our Links Paratransit Drivers provide curb to curb transportation to persons with disabilities who are unable to utilize our fixed route services. Our Maintenance employees work around the clock to insure a safe ride is available on all our vehicles. In addition to all that, we have a great Administrative staff to support our drivers and mechanics. So, yes, we are proud of our employees and in their daily efforts to provide safe and reliable public transportation to Central Arkansas. We don't look at it as a job. To us it is a service to our citizens. Most of our opportunities will occur in the transportation areas for Fixed Route Drivers, Paratransit Drivers, and Maintenance Technicians. Occasionally we will have openings in the Administrative Department. CAT's philosophy is to promote from within whenever qualified candidates are available. Openings are also published in newspapers, communicated to the Employment Security Division, and to local trade schools when applicable.
