Have your fare ready — Cash, Ride Card or Pass. Our drivers do not make change. Deposit your fare into the box next to the driver or place your Pass or Ride Card in the card slot on the right side of the farebox. One-Day Passes are now available for purchase on the bus for $3.75. Be sure to tell the bus operator you wish to purchase a Day Pass BEFORE placing your money into the fare box.
If you have a Discount Fare photo-identification card from CAT or an ADA I.D. from Links Paratransit that entitles you to ride at a discount fare, be sure to show it to the driver as you board. If you need a transfer (they're 5 cents each), ask the driver to issue one to you when you board the bus.
As the bus nears the location where you want to get off, pull the cord located above the windows or press the yellow strip between the windows. A bell will alert the driver to let you off the bus at the next corner. CAT's drivers announce the names of major intersections for the benefit of persons with disabilities. |
