River Rail Streetcar Project UpdateWork is nearing completion on the Trolley Barn and the Main Street Bridge trackbed work. The masonry walls are now in progress on the Trolley Barn. It should be completed on schedule in late May or early June. The bridge work is ahead of schedule and should be complete around the same time.The CATA Board has awarded the final construction contract to Mobley Construction, and Arkansas firm. It will install the track and the overhead power supply network and poles for the entire 2.5 miles. Work should begin this summer and be complete in the fall of 2004.
