River Rail Streetcar ProjectPhase One: Trolley BarnMaintenance and storage will be provided by a Trolley Barn. A construction contract for the Trolley Barn will be awarded. It will be located in North Little Rock between Sixth and Seventh streets just east of Main Street. 
Its design is a combination of functionality and an acknowledgement of its proximity to the NLR Downtown Historic District. The Trolley Barn can be expanded as the fleet increases. The Trolley Barn will accomodate educational tours to learn about the craftsmanship of the streetcars.
Invitations to Bid will be advertised in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, the North Little Rock Times, the Arkansas State Press, Passenger Transport, and this Web site. Prospective bidders can get on a notification list by completing this form.
